DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe 3rd European Conference on Domestic Violence (ECDV) in 
 Olso\, Norway focuses on a range of research topics related to domestic vi
 olence relevant to practice\, services and policy development. This confer
 ence is designed for researchers\, practitioners and policy makers. Its ma
 in aims are to:\n\n\n	Raise the awareness of domestic violence\, share rese
 arch findings and practice developments from across Europe and beyond and 
 discuss the implications for policy and practice\;\n	Develop critical and v
 alid research on domestic violence\, across disciplinary and topic boundar
 ies\;\n	Promote the evidence baseinforming policy and practice developments
  relating to domestic violence\;\n	Encourage networking between delegates t
 o promote the development of new research\, effective policy and good prac
 tice.\n\n\nIMPACTS Project Director\, Dr. Shaheen Shariff\, is attending t
 he conference along with Dr. Diane Crocker\, a partner on IMPACTS and prof
 essor in the Department of Criminology at Saint Mary’s University. Shannon
  Hutcheson and Christopher Dietzel\, who are research assistants on the IM
 PACTS Project and PhD students at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ\, will also be present
 ing with Dr. Shariff and Dr. Crocker. Their symposium presentation is titl
 ed\, 'Addressing Sexual Violence in Educational Contexts and Online throug
