Equity Awards

This award recognizes the work of students, faculty and staff committed to advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and community building at 蘑菇短视频.

Within the award, there are four streams of recognition. Up to four awards may be granted per year, one in each stream.

  • 蘑菇短视频 academic staff.
  • 蘑菇短视频 administrative and support staff.
  • 蘑菇短视频 students.
  • Teams consisting of members of any of the above groups or any combination.

The award brings with it a monetary award and an engraved plaque.

Nominees can be individuals or teams/groups of collaborators who are actively involved in promoting equity, diversity, and inclusivity within the 蘑菇短视频 community. The nomination letter and letters of support should address ways in which the nominee has shown exceptional leadership, initiative and commitment to equity, diversity, and community building.

蘑菇短视频鈥檚 Award for Equity & Community Building was approved by Senate and the Board of Governors in April 2012.

蘑菇短视频 is on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge and thank the diverse Indigenous peoples whose presence marks this territory on which peoples of the world now gather.
