 part of the 2019 Indigenous Knowledge Holder Series .For the Indigenous Kn
 owledge Holder Series\, the Indigenous Studies Program seeks to enrich the
  Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Community by inviting an Indigenous Knowledge Holder to spend a we
 ek at the university to share their scholarship\, work\, and advocacy.  In
 digenous Knowledge Holders ­– whether they be wampum belt holders\, storyt
 ellers\, artists\, activists\, hereditary leaders\, or academics– encompas
 s generations of knowledge embedded within the cultural and epistemologica
 l worldview of Indigenous communities that span generations. This Series s
 eeks to act as a bridge between that knowledge and the institution while p
 lacing an emphasis on Indigenous community collaborations and partnerships
  through academic events\, workshops\, and community presentations.\n\nPle
