 er researchers? Join the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Sustainability Systems Initiative for a pr
 esentation and discussion with Michael O’Rourke\, professor of philosophy 
 and director of the Toolbox Dialogue Initiative\, a consulting and researc
 h group based at Michigan State University that investigates and facilitat
 es collaborative\, cross-disciplinary research. A lunch will follow the pr
 esentation. Registration is required.\n\nRegistration is now closed for th

 I website following the event.\n\nWe are proud to announce that our event 
 has been awarded Silver Sustainable Event certification by the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Sust
 ainable Events program run by the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Office of Sustainability. \n\nAbo
 ut the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Sustainability Systems Initiative\n\nShifting to a more sust
 ainable future requires taking a multi-faceted\, systems-level approach to
  some of the world’s knottiest problems. The Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Sustainability Systems
  Initiative (MSSI) seeks to mobilize Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ researchers around sustainabil
 ity challenges and equip the next generation with the skills needed to add
 ress these issues. In its novel approach\, the MSSI provides opportunities
  for researchers from very different disciplines to interact and co-design
  projects that address complex problems from a variety of perspectives. Th
 e outcome is a robust and vibrant community of committed sustainability re
 searchers.\n\nA note about accessibility: \n\nThe Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ Faculty Club is w
 heelchair accessible through the rear entrance of the building\, which can
  be reached through an alley. An elevator is available to go down to the b
 allroom\, where the event will be held. However\, mobility-restricted bath
 rooms are on the second and third floors\, and they are not wheelchair acc
 essible.\n\nThe front entrance is 12 steps up. Inside\, there are two step
 s down to the lounge (no railing)\, and another two steps down to the ball
 room (with a railing).\n\nGender-neutral bathrooms are on the second and t
 hird floors.\n\nThe moderator and panelists will be using microphones\, an
 d a microphone will be available for audience questions.\n\nIf you require
