Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

Hongtao has been a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at KPMG, one of the Big Four firms, since January 2023. Hongtao has pursued studies in Applied Cybersecurity at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ School of Continuing Studies in 2021-2022. Prior to this, he gained research experience in environmental studies at government research centers in France and China. He is currently pursuing a part-time MBA at HEC Montreal.

Samrajesh Mault
Academic Director
Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ SCS Technology and Innovation domain

Samrajesh Mault, PhD, is the Academic Director of the Technology and Innovation domain at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ's School of Continuing Studies (SCS), where he also teaches cybersecurity courses. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from Bharathiar University.

With over 25 years of experience in information technology, Mault has designed and delivered courses on cybersecurity, cloud computing, and more. He is the project lead and subject matter expert for the Cloud Security micro-credential program supported by the National Cybersecurity Consortium (NCC), Government of Canada. His research interests include cybersecurity, cloud security, distributed computing, and IT risk management.

Majid Babaei
Assistant Professor and Academic Program Coordinator

Majid Babaei, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the School of Continuing Studies (SCS) at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ, with an associate appointment in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Computing from the at Queen's University. Babaei's research interests are at the intersection of artificial intelligence, software engineering, and cybersecurity. His scholarly work has been recognized through publications in top-tier venues like ICSE, ICPE, and MODELS. He actively engages with the academic community by serving as a reviewer for prestigious funding agencies such as and .

Michelange has 15 years of experience in IT and programming, with 5+ years specializing in cybersecurity and cloud security. As a Technical Support Specialist for the Technology and Innovation Department, he ensures smooth technical operations and provides support for students and faculty. His expertise spans system administration, network security, and cloud infrastructure.
