Biography: 

Dr. Maral Koolian is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine, based at the Jewish General Hospital. She earned her medical degree at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ, where she subsequently completed post-graduate training in General Internal Medicine. She then completed a 1-year thrombosis fellowship at the University of Ottawa, followed by a Master’s in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the University of Toronto. Dr. Koolian has also been appointed as the Program Director of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµâ€™s new AFC (Area of Focused Competence) in Adult Thrombosis Medicine.
