For the purposes of the Tobacco Control Act, "smoking" also covers the use of an electronic cigarette or of any other device of that nature; "tobacco" also includes the following accessories: cigarette tubes, rolling paper and filters, pipes, including their components, and cigarette holders. Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ has adopted a Policy Concerning Alcohol, Cannabis and Other Drugs. This policy applies to all Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ students, faculty, staff and visitors on the Downtown and Macdonald campuses, the Gault Nature Reserve, and spaces leased by the University. The policy only permits the consumption of cannabis for medical reasons, accompanied by a valid medical certificate, under certain conditions. However, all consumption of cannabis for recreational use is prohibited on University property.
