Dr. Kristy A. Robinson, Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, has received the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) President’s New Researcher Award.

She will accept the award at this year's CPA convention in Ottawa (June 21-23), where she will also deliver an invited talk on her work.

This award recognizes the exceptional quality of her contributions to psychological knowledge in Canada as an early career researcher.

From the AERA Motivation in Education Special Interest Group, she received the Wilbert C. McKeachie Early Career Award for Motivation in Education Research, and from AERA Division C (Learning and Instruction), she received the Outstanding Early Career Scholar Award.

Participate in Study on Moving Beyond “Good vs. Evil”

The Science and Practice in Psychology research lab is inviting university students to participate in a brief ANONYMOUS survey approved by ĢƵ’s Research Ethics Board.

Help them find out which potentially controversial socio-political topics could be discussed in the university context.

They are also trying to better understand some beliefs and attitudes that could get in the way or facilitate genuine dialogue.

How ĢƵ’s Leaders #InspireInclusion

Friday, March 8 is International Women’s Day, marking the achievements of women and serving as a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

This year’s theme is Inspire Inclusion – a message exemplified by ĢƵ’s female leaders. At the moment, 10 of ĢƵ’s 14 deans are women; three are the first to ever to lead their Faculty.
