Ongoing call.  Would you like to help increase awareness of MORSL events and workshops throughout the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ community?  Volunteers will pick up posters at our MORSL office and speak with one of our staff members about where they can be distributed around campus.

Call for Applicants: Outreach Assistant

MORSL is current looking for an outreach assistant to join our team of student staff members, working about ten hours per week. This role works to build bridges between MORSL and students at special events and in the office. They represent MORSL at student-facing Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ events (especially during orientation), help students connect with MORSL and faith clubs and groups/activities, and also serve students visiting MORSL’s drop-in space. They engage with students in interactive activities and gather information to enhance MORSL’s resources.

We're looking for someone with a respectful, pluralistic, open-minded and curious approach toward a wide variety of religious identities, traditions, and worldviews, and who is enthusiastic about supporting religious and spiritual life on campus. Someone who is friendly, assertive, and approachable with strong organizational and communication skills.

Looking for the Winter Coat Project?

Status: Currently on hold at WUSC (last updated Jan. 2024)

After being run by MORSL for 25 years, the Winter Coat Project found a new home with !Ìý°Õ³ó±ðÌý is a Canadian non-profit organization with several smaller committees across the country, including one here at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ. Its main project is a student-led refugee program, through which WUSC sponsors refugee students attending Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ.  MORSL helped WUSC Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ take over the project by donating our racks, bins and other supplies, as well as sharing our list of donors and promotional strategies. Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ not only thanks to the local team, but also through their well-supported network across Canada.
