Olympic medalist in swimming,听Savannah King is a graduate of the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education who went on to work as a Project Administrator within the department before becoming Associate Coach and Social Media Coordinator for the 蘑菇短视频 Varsity Swim Team. The Faculty of Education's Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education (KPE) has unveiled its new Indigenous space, named the Onkwanakt铆:io lab, which aims to provide a supportive environment for Indigenous students and encourage Indigenous-focused research.

The space features a mural highlighting Indigenous athletes and a hand-carved wooden table depicting traditional Indigenous sports, underscoring the connection between culture, movement, and community.

As a new initiative of the Faculty of Education, Dean Vivek Venkatesh recently launched the Dean's Speaker Series. This biannual series is expected to host prominent guest speakers on relatable topics that span the Faculty's departments and hosted by the Dean as a free event for academics, students, staff, and invited guests.

Any recreational, competitive, or elite-level runners can participate.

You must be/you:

• aged between 18 to 40 years
• run at least 20 km per week and regularly participate in running for 3-6 months
• have not had any musculoskeletal injuries in the past 6 months, any neurological or cardiovascular and respiratory conditions or pregnancy
• should not be under any medications or rehabilitation programme
